Lord NO!!! Teena Marie Dies at 54!!!

According to TMZ:

Relatives found Teena's body Sunday morning at her home. Relatives tell TMZ Teena seemed fine yesterday, when she spent Christmas with her brother. Teena spoke at length yesterday with Lynn, who tells TMZ Teena seemed "fine."

So far it's unclear what caused the singer's death -- but the Pasadena Police Department tells TMZ they do no suspect foul play. They say it looks like Teena died of natural causes. The L.A. County Coroner's Office will perform an autopsy.

We're told Teena had a seizure a month ago, but it's unclear what triggered it.

Marie was nominated for a Grammy four times ... her first top ten hit was "I'm Just a Sucker for Your Love."

More to come...

Christmas Bash for the HEAT!!!!

96 Heat 80 Lakers

What a perfect way to end a very Merry Christmas!! The HEAT WON!!! The Lakers fans gotta feel pretty stupid, but not as bad as Cleveland.. Haaaaaaaaa

By halfway through the fourth quarter, even the pretty people in the premium seats lost patience. Don't throw good money after bad? Well, there's no sense in wasting any more quality holiday time on a disappointing performance by the home team, even if you paid big bucks to see it. And as many of the celebrities started heading for the Staples Center exits, some of the Lakers fans who stuck around began to boo, if only slightly more passionately than their team had played.

This is what the new-look Heat did to the old-guard Lakers on Christmas.

And let's be clear: the Heat did it.

"We made it tough on them," Chris Bosh said.

"We really got to our identity," coach Erik Spoelstra said.

The Heat got the better of the Lakers with defensive intensity and offensive trust, pretty much from start to finish, in a 96-80 victory. It got the better of the Lakers in every major category, from shooting percentage to turnovers and even, in a surprise considering the size of the hosts, rebounding - if only by one. It got better play from its best players, with a cold-shooting, sore-kneed Dwyane Wade still playing Kobe Bryant to a draw, Bosh turning in a far more efficient performance than Pau Gasol and LeBron James outdoing a decent effort from Lamar Odom by posting the first triple-double on Christmas in 40 years.

"We're happy because we got better today," said James, who made 5-of-6 three-pointers on his way to 27 points, "and we didn't take a step back."

Rather, the Heat took a step forward, by stepping on the two-time defending champions, and never stepping off.

It's necessary to state all of this early, and often, because it was plain in the post-game press conferences how this will be widely portrayed: that the Lakers simply aren't the Lakers right now, and so it's no great feat to take them apart, not at this time, and certainly not on this day.

As a seething Bryant put it, after scoring just 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting, "We always suck on Christmas. They should just take us off this game."

Or, in the words of Phil Jackson, "No surprise to us as a coaching staff. We're just not playing very good ball."

That may be so.

A title defense can be a chore, and a bore, and the Lakers don't seem all that intense of late.

The Heat, however, has been playing well for a month, since that third-quarter meltdown against Dallas, so this performance was coming.

Miami has won 14 of 15 overall but hasn't gotten much credit for it, mostly because of the questionable competition. The only loss came against the only inarguably elite squad (Dallas), with the most impressive wins coming at Utah, at New York and at Cleveland, the latter significant more because of what the Heat faced from the crowd than on the floor.

This win now jumps to the front of the list. In the days preceding, Heat players downplayed the significance, with James rightly noting that a rout against the Lakers last Christmas, while with Cleveland, didn't stop Los Angeles from winning the big prize in June. But this did mean something, for a team still in the building stage, with 50 games to go before the playoffs.

"They're playing better basketball than we are," Bryant said. "They're playing as a unit, they're playing with a sense of urgency, they're executing extremely well. They're doing everything that we're not doing."

You can see the Heat building an identity.

"Our backbone right now is our defense," Bosh said. "We know what we're good at."

Wade added: "It's five guys, all being on one string, at one time together. That's what we did tonight."

And you can see it building trust.

You can see Bosh, who hasn't had a clunker in a month, building trust in himself, and his place in the offense. He wasn't just shooting his pick-and-pop jumper Saturday. He was driving to the basket, scoring inside. He had 18 by halftime, and 24 at the end.

"He's found his niche," Wade said, laughing. "He ain't passing. He found all he's got to do is score, and rebound the ball."

You can see players building trust in each other.

"We haven't been trying to self-will things," Wade said.

You can see players building trust in a coach and his priorities. During the past few weeks, nobody's made any comments about Spoelstra that can be dissected, and perceived as dissension. Rather, players have begun parroting the coach's principles. James has repeatedly spoken, and did again Saturday, about how Spoelstra has asked for only one thing - something he also views as essential:

"Play defense ... and you can run what you want to run."

Saturday, the Heat looked like a team the Lakers might not want to run into in June.

Sooooo Amber's knocked up again???

I love Teen Mom especially Amber because she so crazy and her on again off again BF Gary is so STUPID!!! SMH! Anywho there's more Amber is now PREGNANT and get this she doesn't know who her baby daddy it... OMGEE!!!! SMDH

Per Star Magazine:

Just days after regaining custody of her daughter Leah, Teen Mom's Amber Portwood has discovered she's expecting another baby!

In the Dec. 27 issue of Star, on newsstands Wednesday, we reveal the 20-year-old MTV star took a home pregnancy test on Dec. 4 — and it came back positive! "Amber is scared to death about what's to come," an insider tells Star. "She adores Leah, but she doesn't really want to be tied down with another baby."

Amber's baby secret was almost blown on Dec. 10 when she had her first bout of morning sickness. Luckily, her boyfriend, Clinton Yunker, in her hometown of Anderson, Ind., didn't catch on. "He'll freak out if she's pregnant."

To make a bad situation worse, troubled Amber has been with so many guys in the past three months, she has no idea who the father could be. Amber is hoping that her ex-fiancé Gary Shirley turns out to be the father, says the insider. "She thinks they're meant to be together."

Chile if Gary take her back he's even dumber than I thought!!! Sheesh

What in the world??? SMH

In the words of Brown: What the What?? God was all over this.
Per CNN:
Clay Duke sat quietly through the first portion of the Bay District Schools, Florida, school board meeting Tuesday afternoon as local children were honored for their achievements.

When it came time for citizens to bring up issues, the 56-year-old resident calmly approached the front.

He spray painted a red "V" with a circle around it on the wall, brandished a small-caliber handgun and ordered the room cleared at a Panama City schools building.

"Six men stay. Everyone else leave," the burly gunman said.

Moments later, Ginger Littleton, a board member, returned to the room and swung a purse at him. She ended up on the ground after the two struggled. The gunman cursed her, but did not open fire and he let her leave the room.

Someone was going to die, he said.

At that point, Duke, as seen on the dramatic live internet feed provided by CNN affiliates WJHG and WMBB, began a rambling discourse that included the apparent firing of his wife and sales taxes.

The confrontation ended in the gunman identified as Duke calmly firing at the school officials, being wounded and, according to police, taking his own life.

At first, school board members and Superintendent Bill Husfelt tried to reason with Duke, who had a criminal record. They talked about possibly finding a job for Duke's wife or looking into the case.

Husfelt told the gunman that he likely signed the termination papers, but didn't recall the circumstances.

"I'm the one who signed the papers," Husfelt. "Let them go," he said referring to the school board members.

At one point, Husfelt said, "I don't want anybody to get hurt. I've got a feeling that what you want, is you want the cops to come in and kill you because you are mad. Because you said you are going to die."

"But why? This isn't worth it," the superintendent told him. "This is a problem."

The gunman then pointed the pistol at the official.

"Please don't. Please don't. Please," Husfelt said.

The gunman opened fire at Husfelt and school board members. He missed them all, even though he was at close range, said Lee Stafford, director of student services of Bay District Schools. Duke said, "I'm going to kill [unintelligible]," while he fired.

Mike Jones, chief of security for the school system and a retired police officer, exchanged fire with Duke, who was wounded and rolled to the ground. Duke turned his gun on himself, dying of a fatal gunshot to the head, authorities said. Husfelt called Jones a "hero."

The gunman was declared dead at a local hospital. An autopsy is expected Wednesday.

Police and school officials were left to piece together what happened.

"I'm sure they never expected this kind of event to occur," Sgt. Jeffrey Becker of the Panama City Police Department.

The superintendent later related the event as being "surreal," Becker said.

Husfelt told reporters that Duke had almost a smile on his face. "He made up his mind. You could tell he was going to die."

The superintendent said he believes the gunman used a combination of live bullets and blanks. But police said live bullets were used.

Husfelt told "AC360" Tuesday night that the gunman was "just mixed up" and that he tried to calm him down. "I knew the police were on their way."

"You knew he had something in mind he was going to do and it would not end well," Husfelt said.

The superintendent said he wanted to protect the school board members, but Duke did not want to talk.

"The good Lord was standing in front of me," said the school chief, adding authorities found two bullet holes behind his desk.

Police have a solid lead on Duke's motive, Becker said, but were not prepared Tuesday night to release it.

The investigation includes Duke's assertions that his wife had been terminated by the school district. Police were talking with Duke's wife, Becker said.

School officials said they were unaware of the significance of the spray painting.

But a Facebook page belonging to a Clay Duke has a profile photo of a "V" in a red circle, a logo that is used in the movie "V for Vendetta."

According to the Internet Movie Database, the 2006 film is about "a shadowy freedom fighter known only as "V" uses terrorist tactics to fight against his totalitarian society. Upon rescuing a girl from the secret police, he also finds his best chance at having an ally."

CNN could not verify if the Facebook page belonged to the gunman, but it does list Duke, 56, as living in Panama City, Florida.

A biography on Duke's Facebook page reads: "My Testament: Some people (the government sponsored media) will say I was evil, a monster (V)... no... I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats... same-same... rich... they take turns fleecing us... our few dollars... pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%... the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us..."

Under "political views," Duke labels himself a "Freedom Fighter." Under religious views, he wrote, "Humanism."

Duke, who lived in Lynn Haven, a suburb of Panama City, has a previous record, Becker told CNN.

According to the website of the Florida Department of Corrections, Duke was sentenced in 2000 for aggravated stalking, obstructing justice and throwing or shooting into a vehicle.

According to the Panama City News Herald, after six months of stalking a former girlfriend, Duke confronted the woman outside her home on Oct. 20, 1999. He was wearing the mask and vest and holding two .22-caliber guns. He threatened to kill her, then kill several others and then himself, the newspaper said. When the woman tried to drive away, Duke shot out a rear tire.

The photo of Duke on the corrections page matches the Facebook page.

The News Herald reported that the gunman was taken out of the building on a stretcher. According to Panama City Police Chief John Van Etten, no one other than the suspect was injured, affiliate WJHG said.

School board spokeswoman Karen Tucker said the man "was a large guy" she had seen sitting in the back of the boardroom earlier, according to the News Herald.

Superintendent Husfelt will hold a press conference at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the administration building in Panama City, police said.

CNN affiliate WMBB reported children and parents were at the meeting to be recognized for achievements, but were gone before the incident began.

"We are absolutely in state of shock," said Stafford. "I was in the third floor and we were watching the live feed, and first we thought it was a drill. But the more that you watched it, we realized this was an actual incident and emergency situation."

Duke's Facebook page listed him as a 1972 graduate of King High School in Tampa.

His favorite quotation: "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth," from the movie "A Few Good Men."

Michael Vick getting nothing but LOVE!!!

This has to be the cutest thing I've seen in a while. After the Eagles won against the cowboys on Sunday night. Cowboys running back Tashard Choice asked Michael Vick for an autograph for his newphew who LOVES Mike!! AWWWWEEEEE that is just to cute and I got much love for someone who can look past everything and do this especially after loosing!! I love it!! =)

According to ESPN:

Dallas Cowboys running back Tashard Choice accomplished one goal Sunday night: He got Michael Vick’s autograph. Choice approached Vick after the Eagles’ 30-27 win at Cowboys Stadium and asked him to sign a glove. Philadelphia’s MVP candidate granted the request.

“That’s probably the first time that’s ever happened to me,” Vick said of an opposing player’s request after a game. “But [Choice] is a great guy. It doesn’t surprise me.” Choice, who rushed for 16 yards on seven carries and had a 17-yard reception in the loss, said he has known Vick for years. They became acquainted when Choice attended Georgia Tech and Vick played for the Atlanta Falcons.

The autograph, according to Choice, was for a young family member who is a big fan of Vick. “My little nephew says he’s his brother,” Choice said. “My little nephew is 2 years old, so I had to get one for him. I just admire somebody who comes from those circumstances and comes back and proves everybody wrong. I’ve got nothing but respect for him.”
